Lookin into the whisperstick mojosticks and wanted to see some pics of these bows and a few reviews possibly. Definitely a sweet lookin one piece, just needed some more insight. Thanks a lot GBH
Had one and foolishly let it go. They're great bows, easy to shoot and very quiet. Plus there's just something special about those 50's style recurves.
Looking forward to this...awesome bow that almost anyone could afford. Ther is a nice one for sale in the classifieds right now.
Here's a couple pics of mine. When I talked to Jim, he said he had more of this same osage. He calls it "firewood" because of the fiery grain pattern.

bladepeek, what leather is on that handle??? It looks paper thin! the handle is awesome. The osage in that thing is incredible too, very dark with some serious grain. Wow, great bow. Idon't generally like the look of osage, but i do in this one. do you have a photo of that guy in action?
That osage is from our farm...he has a ton of it trust me! I showed him where to get it and there is a lot left ready to be cut.
The leather is actually premium grade furniture leather...JD buys the scraps from local manufactures, it's not as thick as some of the leather I've seen on HH's but it is very soft and has amazing color/texture.
We're going to build a 2 piece 62" Voodoo longbow this summer...all osage riser and limbs with bamboo cores, can't wait. Going to help throughout the entire process!
I'll post some pics later tonight of my bows.
Hope all is well!
Josh
Hey Josh keep us posted on the voodoo stik, A 2pc voodoo? now that is right up my ally, a 62" in 63lbs-oh yea!!!!
The mojo stik is one sweet shooting little bow-plan on adding one to my collection along with a voodoo stik!
Josh, I'd sure like to sit in on that build (or at least part of it). I'm a lot closer to him than you are.
Actually, mine will probably be up for sale soon as I think the switch to lefty may stick. If so, I'd like to duplicate my bow as a mirror image and probably a couple pounds lighter.
That is the best lookin Osage ive seen. And on a great lookin bow like a Mojostick, nice combo!!
I don't have this one anymore, but they are great bows!
