Hello All,
Out of curiosity, I was wondering anybody out there shooting Bill Price bows from Ca. Bill is gone now, and I offered mine up for trade the other day and started regretting it right away. Trade didnt happen, just got me thinking.
Ted
lb55, I have a couple of his bows. One he made for me for a caribou hunt. He was a good friend and hunting partner on that hunt. He used to tell us, life time guarrantee on his bows! I always said, who's life! lol He was a great guy!
Hello Chuck,
I'm starting to think he supplied many "caribou" hunt bows ! Thanks for the reply and all your work as our Field Rep.
Ted
I have one of his bows....
And I know people who have no's of his bows....
He was a deer friend of mine, we usualy set up our boots next to each other at shoots....
I play his CD's at times while I work in my shop....
As Mr Chuck mentioned he was a great story teller and he liked to sing for the people who gatherd around his booth at night....
I shot one of my best rounds at a shoot with his Longbow, I shot 654.
Around here in CA any shoot ya go to, alomost every group of shooters someone will have a Bill Price bow if not all in the group....
Bill is well loved around here and Missed....
I'd keep his bow if I was you....
lb55 I have 3 of Bills bows A one peace 3 peace and a self bow for my grandson. it's like Mike and chuck said Bill was well liked from all I used to seat and sing with him in the evenings at the shoots.

I had the pleasure of hunting caribou with Bill on the northern tip of Quebec. It was a non-migrating herd. We were in a spike camp. Bill shot a heavy horned bull with one of his longbows while we were there. He was a really neat guy and fun except for his snoring!! LOL
Yes the Man could snore....
And I never in my life saw a person fall asleep so fast befor....
One of those as fast as the head hit the pillow types, and then the snoring followed....
Sounds like Bill was fun to hang with. Anyone have a photo of his bows? I remember seeing one a few years back and liked the design (forward grip, as I recall), but haven't seen any since.
