Now that is funny!

LOL
That's a lie Dodger. I haven't been fishing more than 7 times this week. LOL
I think you're going to like that bow Jon. I have to give you most of the credit though, it was an excellent choice of materials. And I'm proud to say it has the ultimate finish - Thunderbird Epoxy.

LOL.
CANT/SHOOT: Whilst we wait for your pics, could you tell us the specs of your bow?
Thanks.
-
Nate, as a fellow bama guy, I think you should bump my bow to the top of the list. These other guys probably don't even watch college football or have even caught a fish out of the Tennessee River. We gotta stick together, Man.

Here you go Dodger
Hunter T/D: 64 inch 55# @28"
Limbs: 2 lams of bamboo surrounded by black glass
Riser: Bocote
Riser accent strip: bamboo | cocobolo | bamboo
Riser overlay: cocobolo with bocote on top
tips: phenolic under cocobolo with bocote on top
Grip: Brown Leather sewn on
I can't wait to see it Nate... and of course to shoot it :)
-
Excellent! Pics of a new Bama soon. :bigsmyl:
-
Thanks for the specs. Hope you get it soon.
-
LOL
If there's carp scales in there Jon, they're good luck - supposed to bring you money.
,eminart, you're good, by the time I finished reading your post I felt motivated and like I was a part of the team LOL
I can't wait to see pics myself.
I'm getting excited
-
Sweet i could use money :) just waitin on the mailman...
-
It doesn't take Nate long to fish anyway...he fishes with dynamite.

So, I should bribe him with some new lures for his tackle box?

But seriously, somebody needs to post the pics to help me endure the rest of my wait.

check these out :)
here is a fat man nocking an arrow... with a little help from my buddy, Dudley

here is the natural progression from there :)

notice the disappearing string, now you see it, now you don't

a little action

accuracy.. not bad for zero brace height adjustment and no nock on the string yet, oh and i was shooting split finger and anchoring to my middle finger, no nock meant it was too loose to shoot three under with my index finger at anchor. i swap between those anyway but i prefer 3 under.
the group of the arrows is my first several attempts at the center, not a bad group. Then i shot 1 at the top target then one at the right target then dead on at the center... stopped there, it was a good place to quit :) and i need to tie on a nock.
