Last year Hubert and I met, we found each other on Tradgang. Hubert is from Germany and I am from The Netherlands. We live on a 4 hours drive distance from each other.
On this link you can read how our first meeting was: http://tradgang.com/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=106376;p=1
Next Saturday, May the 26th, we will have our 2nd meeting here in The Netherlands. Hubert and I sure are counting the days!
Huberts will bring some fine bows with him: his Whippenstick longbow, his ACS, a vodoo elk riser bow and a Cari-bow Peregrine.
Hubert has offered me his like new Peregrine for an unbelievable price! I am very graithfull for that. I will love to buy it, it is 5 pounds heavier in drawweight as the Peregrine I own at the moment.
I just can't wait....
FD,keep us posted. That bow poundage is perfect for you to gain some strenght and be more relaxed when you'll shot your bow.
I practice a lot with heavier poundage bows of what I usually take for hunting or roving.
some names of the beers that will be killed along the meeting will be helpful too.LOL
Sounds like a great time. I was in your country last year training for my job. Beautiful country, great people!!, good food, and great beer. I stayed in Maasstricct and worked in Heerlen. Loved being there and hope to be able to return someday with my family.
Greets from North Carolina!
PS: Love the Dutch Koffee also. :coffee:
Ad my Friend,
only 5 days and the party can start... :D
I hope we don't drink as much beers as arrows we will shoot!
Shoot I was just in Recklinghausen a few weeks ago.
That is in Germany I guess??
Yes, Recklingshausen is in Germany!!
Gute Morgen Hubi! Noch drei Tagen!
