I was doing my little girls nails(dont even go there)and after painting them we put a clear glitter coat on. It wasnt a top coat but it went on smooth and looked great with the glitter. Has anyone ever used such polishes for arrow cresting. The label doesnt say if its enamel or acrylic.
No but I have used my daughter's nail polish alot for fly tying(great colors). It holds up good for that. I think I might have to try some, thats a good idea.

No man ever stood so tall as when he stooped to help a child. You should paint that little girls nails everytime she asks.
I have also used nail polish when tying flies but never thought about using it on arrows. Give it a shot and show us some pics!
It's great for touching up dinged bathroom fixture finishes, and also metal ballusters.
My girlfriend had some of that silver glitter kind with a little thin applicator brush inside that worked pretty good on some arrows I made. I'm pretty sure she got it at wally world for a buck or so. She said they have a ton of different colors...
