Title: Added to the ranks today
Post by: centaur on May 12, 2012, 04:56:00 PM
I'm stuck in the big city for a couple of days, so had to do shopping (which I hate). Went to a store, and at checkout, the guy asked for my email, which got him talking about trad archery. He was very interested in TG, although as a computer guy he had not heard of the site, but said he will check it out.
At another store, the young man checking us out started talking about bowhunting after seeing my shirt (I was wearing a Rocky Mt. Specialties t shirt), and in a short time, he was convinced that hunting would be much cooler with traditional equipment, and I told him about RMSG. His eyes lit up, and he said that he would have to go down and check out all their goodies.
I am confident that both of these guys will look much further into traditional archery, and the second young man said, "I'm 19, and I have never hunted, and I really think that hunting with traditional equipment is the way to go." Let's hope that he jumps in with both feet.

Are you crazy! If the rest of the world goes trad do you relize how long it'll take to get a custom bow built? I won't live long enough. LOL
