Now I agree they do have a big head start on us but being old and decrepit I think in all fairness the should get a headstart.     :goldtooth:

It is incredible what the old duffers have accomplished over the years with this auction.I can only hope that the newbies on this site can keep such a noble act going. This ol' duffer really hopes that you kick our butts. But I doubt it!   :saywhat:    :laughing:

Well as an older "young'en" I see that we have the older's outnumbered by a long shot so we should be able to have more listings.  I have one up now  http://auction1.tradgang.com/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=166;t=000037  and will look around for more.  It's all for a great cause.  With 35,000+ members it won't take much to make this another record year.

The old timers list so much due to the retirement home not having enough room for all their stuff...LOL

GRINCH is just barely above 15,000.I'll give ya GRINCH even though he is no way a newbie.(sorry GRINCH). The rest of the new listings are all below 15,000. The newer members are gonna prove me right and look silly.

23 nice items posted on the auction yesterday check them out. 7 by the younge pups and 16 by ole duffers. The total now is duffers 235 and pups 91.

Let's make a goal for today. We listed 16 items yesterday, if we list 35 today we can get to 6 pages of auction listings. Last year we had a little over 8 pages so this is a doable goal and we are getting close.

So today we are hunting for page 6.
Younge pups if you need help PM me or get your wives involved, a lot of them are more savvy around a computer. Plus when you explain why your doing it their hearts will melt

Thanks razorback I could never have bought enough roses for that spell correct error. No matter how many times I blames the computer.

So pups let this be a lesson. The codgers can see better in the morning light, they've been up since 3 am. But they'll be bedded down by 7 pm after evening news. Know your quarry.

I posted several nice items I purchased from the Asbell's last week for the auction it's all new and will hopefully bring in some nice $ amounts, let me see what I can find lying around that I really don't need. maybe add a few more items before Friday. Seems like I remember a couple of packs of STOS heads lying around somewhere.....now where did I put them????  :confused:

Coveralls here. Things are really roaring now. I worked on a roof yesterday till past dark got home near 10 ate cleaned up went to bed. Checked this morning and see I missed a lot. 36 new items posted. Page 6 was bagged and 7 has a bullseye on it big time. The pups are really excited about whether Leatherneck is going to have to change his user name to Katniss_Everdeen

In recent years there were some HUGE ticket items that boosted our totals, but left the small change purse guys twiddlin their thumbs and just hecklin... me included.

With the variety of items, big and smaller, and with Batman's $20/pop or 6 for $100 (max) tickets for the turkey extravaganza... we might do quite well in totals and involved a LOT more players!

I can't see that being a bad thing! WEll, cept for Doug and the bean counters who have to process payments and post up winners... that could be an "undertaking"... but it won't kill em!

Thanks for your contrubition to the razzing. I say let's all turn on the mods (in a good way) and post up loads of stuff  :)  Everyone contributes, but theirs is a definite labor of love and caring. So why disappoint?

Been weeding out my stash for some time and giving it away...so things are down a bit in that area...I could've listed my Dad's 2 sets of partials, but that would have been tacky.

Nice job guys, 15 new items posted yesterday, and they are dandys, the geezers wipped us pups but I think that will change today, Jerry posted at 12 :39 this morning And a lot of other geezers were milling around well past their roosting time so today should be the pups day.
Page 7 is now halfway in the bag, soon that pesky critter will be out of the way.
