Title: Newb Goof
Post by: 8Crow on May 09, 2012, 01:43:00 PM
As I commented a while back, I picked up my first trad bow back in early April and since then I've been on a mission to tune my arrows.  There are lots of ugly details along the way, but to cut to the chase, I am now the owner of 11 (no, not 12  :( ) 340 spine arrows that shoot pretty darn well with 175 grain tips but they're going to be an inch too short for broadheads.

I know I'm going to have to go back to a 32" arrow, so my question...is there a decent chance the 340 spine/175 grain tip combo is still going to work when I go to the inch longer arrows, or do I need to get another arrow test kit in the 32" length?

Been there.  You might be able to shoot a 2 blade head set horizontally...might not work, but if you had just a bit of overhang you can do it.
