Title: Rocky IQ scent clothing???
Post by: T.J. on July 30, 2007, 06:30:00 PM
Hey everyone. I'm thinking of trying the Rocky IQ scent clothing for early bowhunting this year. I was wondering if any of you have tried it and what do you think???

Thanks

T.J....no clothing will hide your scent from a deer's nose.  It may help a little, but clothing has to vent or it will cook a foul soup in there.  "[dntthnk]"    You have to make that decision, but I would spend that money on arrows, broadheads, etc., and use the wind as my ally.

TJ, I believe it helps and helps a lot anything to reduce your scent in my book is a worth pursuing. Shower with scent eliminating soap, chlorophyll tablets the whole nine yards. I have shot more than a few deer in my life and I like the new silver fabric and scent-lok as well! Shawn

I don't know about the Scent IQ clothing, but I would stay away from the Rocky Scent IQ boots. Not a problem with Scent but They were in No way waterproof and not very water resistant either.

Good Luck with what you decide.

Thanks guys. I already go the whole 9 yards to reduce my secent and had them walk right under my stand without them knowing I was there. But I figure a little extra can never hurt. I saw these because I can get a great deal on them and they said they were waterproof. I already have a great pair of boots I'm just interested in the shirst and pants

Thanks for the replies so far!
