Enjoy it, I don't think a sheep hunt can ever be a failure regardless of the outcome!!!!!
I suspect that the experience will be worth a lifetime of memories.
Thanks guys, Will take lots of pics on scouting trips and the hunt, I will have to figure out how to post them on here when time comes.
Awesome!!
take it in, drink it up. and good luck, may your arrows fly straight!
Perhaps I should say, I hope you get a shot! :-)
Congrats on drawing your Ram Tag. Nothing beats a failure but a try, and a winner never quits and a quiter never wins. Good luck when you do go.
That is awesome Dan!!! Must be karma ... good things happen to good people. Congratulations! I am really looking forward to hearing the stories and seeing the pictures!

What unit?
Awesome and good luck!
Congrats and good luck!
Like hitting the Mega Million. Congrats, and wee look forward to seeing the pictures and hearing the stories from the adventure.
I drew S15 it is a rifle unit. I will hunt it with a longbow. Over the years I have put in for all the good archery units and just could not draw. the odds looked a little better here and closer for my brother to scout. also thought with just 5 ram tags should not take long for most of the gun guys to fill and hopefully will run in to less competition at the last of the hunt. Hope my thinking works out. I just have to find them in a huntable place and make a good stalk.
That is a great plan and with local support, you are in for a big treat! Good luck. I hunted S12 archery in 2007. Close but no ram.
Congrats...!!
Enjoy every minute..!
Thanks Pat!
I make it to the high country shoot most years and will be there this year I will try to look you up if you are there.

CONGRATS and the Best of Luck to You!
Congrats, see you at the High Country shoot.
Well deserved tag there. I got my money on ya.
Wow Dan, good for you! Congratulations!!!!
Have a great hunt. Best of luck to ya!
Thanks guys, regardless of the outcome any hunt in the rockies is like a dream.
Dan: There are a lot of experienced sheep hunters that will be at the CTAS High Country shoot. I would use the opportunity to talk to as many people as possible about sheep hunting. They may not know about your specific unit, but can provide you with some insight on sheep hunting tactics. Jim
Congratulations. I was beginning to think that the names that were drawn were fictitious and they really aren't giving out any tags.
Jim:That is for sure Colordo has some of the most hardcore trad hunters I have ever met the list is very long on the ones that can get it done. Thats a great looking ram in your pic, I will be picking your brain about sheep hunting.
Thanks Dan
Congratulations on drawing an incredible tag.I hope you take tons of pictures and come back with some great stories.Best of luck.
