Oh yeah
Nice pic! How far?
Nice black coat, looks in great shape.
Nice bear. We accidentally treed a mamma and 2 cubs a few weeks back up in VT. I don't think they ever went in this winter!
That's cool. He looks like he's been eating well. I walked up on a bear during deer season last year in FL. I thought it was a deer moving in some thick brush so I moved in closer and nocked an arrow. The bugger strolled out of the brush about 7 yds in front of me and I just about soiled myself. We can't shoot them in FL yet, but the population here seems to be growing pretty rapidly.
Blueridge he was about 20 yards off the road.
had 2 in the yard at camp in Cameron County friday night. one small one and one nice one with a nice blaze on its chest. The small one ate 4 racks of ribs that were in a friends cooler on the porch. Guess he didnt think a bear could open a soft sided cooler :dunno: . Nice picture
Never seen a bear on the "hoof" or "Paw". That has to be a cool site. Great pic.
Great Picture! I would have that one framed and put on a wall.
Nice picture. Only bear I've seen in the woods was in Ocala Forest, Florida about 30yrs ago. That was one too many..actually, 4 too many.
She had 3 little cubs about 16" high on all fours. All ended up less than 10ft. from me right under my tree and I wasn't but as high as I could reach my hands and set a loc-on. Sittin up there with a recurve. Forgot my pole climbers.
Got to see how a bear poppin it's teeth sounded.
The're also out in Colorado. My trail camera caught this one coming in to drink at a small pond. This picture was taken Apr. 19.

Cool pics, guys! I've been seeing fresh poop all over the mountains...
huntmaster,
Where's your camp at in cameron? I have one in the Forty Maples area.
I'm sure the young males will be roaming through the towns lost anytime now. More bears in Cameron County now than deer. I used to hunt out of a camp below Houston Hill.
Glenn
Seen one in the back yard yesterday.
Guy from Alaska had photos of Grizzly tracks in early April.
