Anyone have a good how to resource for drilling and installing riser quiver inserts into a finished bow?
Looking to upgrade my bob lee with some quiver inserts, and I think I have 80% of it figured out, but want to be sure not to screw this up.

Best to use a drill press so things stay nice and straight. Use the right size drill in the directions and go the proper depth. Many guys don't like to drill their risers for quivers. To me it offers more options while in the field. I use a Kwikee Quiver to get to my spot and then take it off to spend time on the stand. If I'm still hunting I have a Great Northern side mount that I use. I also use back quivers and Asbell style.....it's nice to have choices. Drill that riser and find out what you like best!! Also try your quiver to make sure you have it where you want it before you drill, tape it on or just hold it in place to check.
Just like RonW says.I always use a drill press and Forstner bits.Tape the bit or use the depth gauge attatchment on the drill press. Clamp your riser so it can't move,padded of course. Make sure the riser surface is 90 degrees to the bit.Use an old piece of wood for a practice run.Easy to do my friend.
Practice on a scrap piece of wood. After all you only get one chance at this.
