G'day all i recently had the honour of hunting red deer with a fellow tradganger (Bisch) after hearing about his unlucky goat hunt I thought id rub some salt in the wounds and go for a quick weekend hunt and see if my luck was any better.

Bow used was a BW PSA V 66lb at 27 inch.
shooting Widowmaker 215gr heads.
Another great goat! How'd the deer hunt go for you?
Thanks a lot Luke!!!!!!!
The deer hunt was a blast. We got to see a few deer and had a few called in on strings right to us. I was the only one who got a shot.....and like the goats Luke alluded to above......I sailed one right over it's back at about 16yds! I think it is because I was standing upside down over there and my arrows were falling away from the ground instead of towards it (that is my story and I'm sticking to it, anyway). Things seem to be OK again since I got home as I am back on and have taken several critters.
Anyway, a big congrats on that stinking old goat Luke!
Bisch
P.S. - Luke, you need to read this story; as you, Mick, and Clint are all mentioned in it!

Also, I sent you an email about the shirt - Thanks again!
Thanls or the pic & story Luke. Great looking goat!
Congratulations on the goat Luke. I'm sure the salt will sting for awhile, but it will help Bisch's ego wound heal a little faster, or slower. :saywhat:

Mick
Congrats!!!
Bisch like I said too you the day we got there and the day we left I didn't care if I shot anything I was just happy to be there.
I've had a some trips where I've shot a some great animals but this was the best and I never got a shot away! Between the company, the country side and the thrill of having a stag roar it's head off from 15 mtrs it was THE best hunt I've been on so far in Australia.
