I just wanted to take the time to congratulate my buddy Dave on his first traditional harvest. He's a newcomer to the sport and absolutely loves it. Dave's been working really hard and has been practicing multiple days during the week to hone his skills. Things finally transpired and he was able to take his very first boar with his brand new Stalker Recurve.
Congrats once again my brother! :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
In addition, my hunting partner Craig joined us on this hunt and was able to test his new set up for buffalo. South built him a longbow for his upcoming trip to Australia. I thinks he's ready for some water buff!!!

  Congrats Dave, nice story and pics Ryan! The bush in Hawaii sure can get thick.
South Cox makes some fine bows. All you TG'ers might check out the Hope and Faith thread up at the top of Pow Wow to see what else they can do. The St Judes auction is coming soon and Hope and Faith will be going to help the kids and give some lucky bidders a chance to make some of their own dreams come true.
Can't wait for your water buff stories Ryan :campfire:

Great story! Is that a Schleyer?
Brent,
It looks like a Schleyer, but I think the riser is cocobolo and ebony.

I had no idea y'all had prickly pear over in Hawaii though. I figured you guys would have had to watch out for pineapple leaves sticking you.
