Title: unknown single bevel option
Post by: nc recurveman on April 23, 2012, 04:11:00 PM
afternoon folks, I know many of us have been drawn to the advantages of single bevel heads but, for some of us (including me) the price of getting single bevel heads is hard to swallow. Zwickey came out with the no mercy head and that open the door for us all to able to afford shooting them, well I found a new option that some may want to look at. I have been a fan of the old tried and true ace head, we all know they are sold double bevel only. I wanted to place another order last week and just for kicks I asked the guy on the phone could I get the unbeveled to make my own bevel on them. He said sure and if I wanted they would put a 25 degree single bevel on them for at no extra charge. Ace has been around for ever becuase they work, they cost 26$ and are tough as nails with this new info maybe some of you guys and gals may want to order a half dozen at a fraction of the cost of a lot of the other single bevels on the market. I hope this new to me info helps some of ya'll make a new choice not known before.

I love companies/businesses that are flexible and will bend to meet their customers' requests.  The Ace is a super strong, easy to sharpen excellent  flying head that is nicely affordable.  In a market now that seems to charge the same price for 3 broadheads that was always charged for 6, the Ace stands out as a great value.   I haven't bought broadheads on value alone in the past, but have come to realize that time tested proven designs like Zwickey, Magnus (name your favorite) and of course ACE have been getting the job done for a long time.  Animals haven't changed, just perceptions.

I will be considering a six pack of Ace broadheads in LW bevel.  Thanks for the tip!

Kris
