Hi,
Just wondering if any of you have seen BCY's metallic bronze string material?
Is it too shiny for hunting?
...pics would be great..
Thank you
The color varies a little from spool to spool, and between materials, but it blends into the woods pretty well--I like it.
Here's the BCY color chart.

I've had, and have, several spools of bronze in B-500, B-55, Dynaflight '97, 8125, and 8190. None of them have been as dark as the one in the picture, but it's fairly close. Although they describe it as "metallic", it's not shiny.

Thanks Chad!
To shinny to hunt with? Hmm that's a new one.
Well hey..I didn't know.. :dunno:
I thought it might have been real glittery or something with the "metallic" description.
Have you seen the Pink arrows we hunt with. dont sweat the small stuff.
My youngest would LOVE that pink and black!!!
Jeez guys...I've never seen the stuff.
Bright pink is one thing..deer can't see color, so it sorta blends in as some shade of gray.
I thought this metallic stuff might be pretty reflective.
I guess it isn't and I think I'll use it in my next string.
I figure if I get enough of the small things wrong I'll be stacking the deck against me....I don't need that.
Actually several years ago BCY had several "metallic" colors, and they did have a small amount of glitter in them. I don't think it was enough to hinder a hunt, but it was there.
