Post by: ozy clint on April 19, 2012, 04:10:00 AM
i'm shooting four feathers at 90 degrees. getting a bit of strike plate wear though. i have the the feathers orientated as an 'X' when on the string. does anyone shoot them as a '+'?

Are you sure your arrows aren't just a little on the stiff side? I wouldn't think you would get any contact. BTW, I align mine like you do but I use 75x105.

I shoot the 75x105 low profile bannana. There is no more wear than a 3 fletch. I would think a 90 degree would be harder to get feather clearance on the shelf. I fletched one up and did not like it just because of that fact. Never shot it though.

+ for me too.

I have no problems other than a slightly worn bottom feather after LOTS of shots.
