Pick a spot, pick a spot, pick a spot. LOL
Who else here when watching a hunting video, or driving around town, or playing fetch with the dog "picks a spot" on alot of things. I was watching Letting Loose the DVD today while playing with the kids, ( it was raining all day) and I caught myself on every animal picking that little tuft of hair, or the light that was hitting the perfect spot, or that slight discoloration behing the shoulder. Also Ill pick a spot on my dog sometimes when we are all outside.
I have also noticed that if there is some writing or a picture or something sometimes I practice burning a hole in the smallest spot I can find on an object.
Just wondering how many others out there are as ate up as I am. Have fun ya'll and God bless.
Yup!!! :biglaugh:
Guilty! ;)
All of the time.
:wavey:
me, me!
Yep! Live on a small ranch, I get to pick a spot a lot on different critters.
I do this constantly. Glad to see I'm not crazy, or if I am, to have some company!
Yep, I do it all the time.
Just a part of the journey.
God bless,Mudd
Out here I keep looking at the hills and mountains for elk and deer. Never realized it until my son said he did that too. I guess it is a natural result of our instincts. I see cottontails and focus on the eye. There was one in my yard last weekend in my roses and I kept picking spots between stalks for a clean shot
Pleasant sort of misery!!!
yup all the time.
Some of the best mental practice there is,lots of dead critters on my way home from work from the holes ive burnt thru them.
nope, I say it a lot, but have trouble remembering to do it:)
But, best not to do it at the zoo, Boys! Makes folks wonder... :saywhat:
I wish I could. After 25 years of trade archery I can't say I've ever been able to do that.
Whew, I won't be alone. Everyone have a Blessed Sunday.
I'm constantly "picking spots" on animals, leaves, things in the neighborhood as I'm walking my dogs, etc. I guess it's just a part of hunting. :)

I am still working on picking a spot EVERY TIME.
Thank god there are others like me.
We can't help it,it's in our blood. As hunters we can't even go to a zoo and not think..........well.
Is it wrong to take a laser pointer to the zoo to work with my kids on kill shots?
There's nothing to feel strange about, sounds like you have good focus. I need practice with mine. Seems to vanish in a heartbeat.
Yup all the time. And everthing is a target head light to a car the center of a hubcap! Sometimes a'll refer to things as " It was just a bow shot away" L.O.L.
