I had to post this shot from the trad-only shoot that the Prairie bowmen club put on a few weeks agoe. This was by far my son's favorite target of all.The drum is mounted to a pull trailer, and you shoot four targets while in motion......and my son rolled through it like a champ.
A true memory maker.
That looks like a pretty cool shoot.
Good stuff

Very cool. A little Comanche on the attack.
Very Cool. The focus in his eyes and form is great!
 I only wish my form and concentration were that good.
One local club had gone a different direction with something similar but mounted on a huge coil spring... staying on it was a chore, drawing and shooting while stayin balanced was an absolute HOOT!
Looks like fun!

Too cool, man... :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
Looks like fun.
Some years ago ARTAC (Amite River Traditional Archery Club near Baton Rouge) had a gorilla on a trapeze. It was a stuffed gorilla suit mounted across a small hollow. The gorilla swung down the hill and back up toward you. It was a great target to shoot at.
They also had an alligator that rushed out of the water broadside in front of you. It was slingshotted on a piece of gum stock cord. Cool target.
Looks like a blast!
Yeah, I've done similar types of things like that before. It is great fun and makes you want to shoot that target over and over again. Let's see the compound guys try that!
Nothing beats seeing kids involved in archery!

That is sweet!!
I like it! Great picture!

Looks very much like something I'd fall off of and shoot straight up in the air. :scared: A horse or mule hasn't been made that I can't get pitched from.
Great idea. I know when I was that age there is no way I could stay off it.
Looks like a fun target, hopefully your insurance would cover any accidents. If not the officers of the club could be liable if someone is injured.
I like this picture a lot. Looks like his dad when he was younger and we were running around having some fun. Good job Jonathan.
Lookin foreward to the 28th,I'll be out at the club shoot with the kids.Time for more fun I thinks.I like how he still remembers the scores he shot on all 4 of the "horse" targets we shot,he really liked them a lot.
The Maya Stickbow Classic out of Rocklin/Roseville California has a canoe paddle down a narrow creek where you shoot at several targets. Great Fun. Yours looks similar! Great Picture.....
