My son will be out but alas I'm badly out-of-pocket for most of the season this year. In fact he should be up right about now and headed out the door to his blind pretty soon! He has never killed a turkey with a bow. I hope to get a call in a couple of hours.

Wish i was but my wife is past due with child #2.  Afraid i won't get to chase them this spring, but I'm not complaining.  Can't think of a better reason to miss a season...

Brad, you're a damn good guy.

I work with 180 rednecks, and most of them would just go hunting.

I want to congratulate Hobie Baker (monsterbuck) on his first Trad turkey Kill this Morning. This was a great hunt; and we even got it on film. I will let him tell the story, but here is a Picture. (//%5Burl=http://imgur.com/mjP7i%5D%20%5Bimg%5Dhttp://i.imgur.com/mjP7i.jpg) [/IMG]

My son and I had them all over us this morning in KY but couldn't close the deal.  We both got shots but mmmmiissssed:^(.  There's a lot of "super jakes" this year where we hunt that are keeping the longbeards paranoid. The big boys would like to stay henned up but the teenage boys are harassing them ... dekes are working great right now.  Put a jake out and the mature gobblers are leaving their hens to chase the little punks off the fields, HA!
