It's been dry in Wisconsin but found a handful of morels today including this one. Fixed up some venison steaks from my doe this year sauted with the morels. Oh boy that was gooood!

If they are in WI, then they are definitely here.
Next week is my dads Turkey season, I will tell hi to keep an eye out.
Good Find Bruce!
Awesome...great pic Bruce! I looked yesterday at the club...nothing yet, very dry here but thats all about to change this weekend!
Keep looking Joe,Dont forget what ever you find at the club MUST be shared with the VP.
I think the dryness has been the main culprit here but its about to change this week. 80 degree days, 40's at night and rain.
Morels and venison, like hand in a glove. some things were meant to be together.
I just had to check out this thread. Feeling hungry.
Great Find Bruce! I need to check out at Neosho, cuz vultures swarm at Ojibwa from what i hear. It's not a safe place to be when they are popping up.

You can pick all ya want Raf but you have to surrender them to the Board! :goldtooth:
Surely in heaven, venison is bountiful, and morels grow year round! A divine feast.
