Just thought that some of you all would appreciate some Toelke Montana Gold..... By no means do pictures do these two bows justice...

Both of these bows are 2 piece bolt bows and the fit and finish are flawless. The Krestrel was the first, 52" AMO 50# @ 28" with some unbelievable Bocote veneers. Just received the HS Whip yesterday. The HS Whip is the twin 58" AMO 50# @ 28" with the same unbelievable Bocote veneers. They both have SBD Ultra 6 strands and are ridiculously quiet to say the least... my search for the long and short of it is finally over ???

Dan is a master craftsman and more over a fine gentleman....thank you sir.
God Bless, Pierre
Those are nice looking bows.
Wow.....sweet don't cut it,I think I'll need to take a look at some new bows for the future!
I shot both of Pierre's new bows and they are both simply amazing!!!! The whip is completely unbelievable that's all I can say for it!!
Those are some awesome bows man
I've got a Lynx and a second on the way. Been through three Whips. Can't go wrong with anything out of Dan's shop!
I have a Super D and one on the way next week. TOTALLY impressed with Dan's bows
Dan does good work! Beautiful bows...
Wow, simply beautiful! Congrats.
WHO...where can I get a tomahawk like that?
I just put my Toelke Wasp 10x longbow up for sale in the classifieds here if you would like to see another beautiful Whip.
I agree with Pierre, they are truely an outstanding bow. I got to spend some time with Dan and he and Jared, his son, are great folks and a real set of Gentlemen/craftsmen.
Wow! Now that's a pair to draw to there! :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
What is the riser made from? Is that phenolic or Ebony?
Beautiful pair! I love a good matching set...
Gorgeous bows. I just placed an order for a 62' HS whip two weeks ago and Dan called a week later to give me an update on his limb wood lams to match the cocobolo riser. He sounded as excited as I am. Your pictures have me drooling!
Same here Del, can't wait to see my Super D next week. When Dan says it's something special, you know it will be.
Really feeling a matching Classic Whip may be in the future
I have a Whip HS and a Lynx. Love them both!
Mercy me!!!
Those are a stunning pair Pierre.
Thanks...Mr. Toelke deserves all the praise.

He does some fine work and have 2 whips myself.... Although, Dan doesn't seem to indulge in praise...
The best praise I can say is he's a hell of a bowbuilder and even though I have only talked on the phone with him and been able to appreciate his bows... He's Good People!!!

They are beautiful pair... I like the short bow, but wonder if you had a goto... which would it be???
Cool Bows!!!!!!!!!!!!I like that phenolic!!!
You thought you had problems before....now you have to choose one of them to hunt with at a time. Good luck that! :D
Great looking bows, knowing Dan's work they will shoot smooth & where you look!
Very nice bows!
They look great. Do you like the phenolic for the handle. More stable?
Rich K
Rich,
The phenolic in the riser feels really good. It puts the weight of the bow right where it should be, in your hand. Neat deal there. More stable?, not sure what you mean...stronger for the bolt, yep.
God Bless, Pierre
I've been considering the Kestral for a short bow. Yours is beautiful. Fantastic combo there, I like the phelonic handles, looks plenty tough.
I got my whip about 4 months ago now. I am new to traditional archery but having wonderful success shooting it. It seems quite quick to me. That is a great looking pair of bows there and Dan is first class all the way.
Dan's 52" Kestral blows "common wisdom" that short recurves don't work for guys with longer draws out of the water. I shot a couple of them at his place in 2010 and having only shot factory short recurves before was skeptical. I draw a tad over 29" and was amazed at how smooth and stable the little bow was and there was not a hint of stacking. Bow design is a lot more important than bow length!
