For the guys that use skyhooks, where do you find more hardened bolts(screws) when you've exhausted your supply? Sure I have a lot of stands prepared, but a guy can always use more bolts. Thanks for the help.
Hardware stores carry all types/hardness
Pease do NOT use hardware store lag bolts!! They are not strong enough( first hand experience).
These folks sell lag bolts at a reasonable price.

I also have another link, i just gotta dig it up.

take one that you have to The Bolt Supply House, they will use code on bolts (lines and triangles on the top of the bolt that determine hardness and strength) to ensure you get same quality bolt at a better price. If there is no makings on the bolt, tell them what it is for and that you want a very strong bolt, they will help you.
The bolts for Skyhook steps have a special design head than hardware lag bolts.

about how many do you need?
Thanks for the help, guys! I wouldn't risk not using a hardened bolt. Too much at risk when a guy gets his feet off the ground, but I do love my skyhooks.
carbonflyer, p.m. sent.
I never experienced a bolt failure, I dont buy the multi pack bolts but I do buy the case hardened steel with at least 4 bars on the head.
Safety is the utmost so go with the manufactures recommendations.Sorry if the Hardware brands were not the quality that should be used.Thats what makes this place great , I always learn something.
