Title: Hip Quiver selection
Post by: awbowman on April 12, 2012, 05:49:00 PM
Well guys, my second Toelke Super D will be here soon and I can't bring myself to put a quiver on it.  The Super D is the only bow I have never had a quiver on.  I have just about decided on Art Vincent's side quiver, but just checking out as to what other people have before pulling the trigger.

Pics would be nice.

Thanks

Check out the Absorkee Quiver by FarrWest Leather....Tim Roberts.   It's a good "Montana marriage" to the Toelke!

I put homemade straps with plastic dog clips on bow quivers and carry them over my shoulder.

I can't stand a bow quiver on my bow when I shoot. Every time I walk by my stash of certain bolt on, accessory screw, and strap on quivers I'm tempted to sell them all. But, they are cool, well made, expensive, and maybe I'll discover the error of my ways and decide to use them?

I have the Absorkee Quiver from Farr West on the way, and for the same reason I don't want a quiver on my bow. Call Tim.

A couple of years ago I started using a side (hip) quiver called "Tarantula".  It's a five arrow quiver that is very compact and lightweight.  You can wear it on your hip, or it has multiple attachments to put it on your backpack.

I'm really impressed with it.  It's made by Sportsmans Outdoor Products (www.sophuntinggear.com).  I found mine in an outdoor "big box" store.
