Shooting has been a little lonely since our older daughter took her first "real" job far from home. But a couple of weeks ago I walked out of the house with one of my bows in hand, to the amazement of one of my wife's music students. This girl has been trying to make bows out of sticks and rubber bands; she already had the bug. With her Mom's permission, I set her up with a little recurve, arrows, armguard, and tab, and got her started. Now she does archery every week after piano. Thank you, Lord!
Thats awesome!!
Cool. Keep us posted on her progress.
Amen brother

That's awesome. My son is five and has a Lil Bear or something along those lines. He gets mad that his arrows don't "stick" in the target like dad's arrows. I keep telling him to be patient and that we will get something done up for him, but he just stares at those rounded tips and then looks at me with those big brown eyes. Gonna have to do something sooner than I had planned.
Chop sticks and string!

"Thank you Lord"

And the tradition continues.
