Post by: BUCKY on April 01, 2012, 11:19:00 PM
I would like to see some pics of broadheads in the hood and some pics of feather clearance in these quivers. Thanks

GN does make a 3/4" deeper arrow hood for the longer BH's

I can look for a picture when I get home...or take one.  I can put 160 Ribteks and Snuffers in my GN hood all the way...just got to push it in harder to get full cover.  I also shoot with the larger fletching and no issues as long as I am aware of how I put them in.

Not tried it with a 190 Ribtek or the new 200 Grizzly I am getting but I love my Great Northerns.  Sold one for a longbow I was not using...but keeping the one I have for my recurves.  :)   It has the quick release setup.

I've had great northern quivers on all of my bows, recently purchased a very nice looking and well made quiver from a sponsor here. It is a 2 pc quiver, all I can say is I will not put any other quiver on my bows than a GN ever again. They are light, easy to use and solid, they will not move once strapped on, 2 pc not the same for me. Todd

Great Northern loaded with five big Zwickey Delta two blades on a well worn Widow. You won't find a better bow mount quiver IMHO.

You can't go wrong with GN quivers. I've used them on all of my bows for years. IMO, they're the best. (nut)

I've had the same strap on GN for about 15 years. But where do you get the deeper hood Eric? That is the only thing that I would change.

Greetings Ryan!

When you buy your GN quiver direct from the manufacturer, you can request a deeper hood.  Brown color only.

Keep the wind in your race!

Shoot straight, Shinken

I am a recent convert.  I have five or six quivers and I can't believe how the GN doesn't seperate and require adjusting.  Maybe it's me but I also think it dampens sound and vibration to nothing as the bow is already quiet and without hand shock. It's even more so with the GN.

GN quivers are great, good feather clearance with a little fore-thought and just fine with my Zwickeys or Magnus heads...

I've got a strap-on 4 arrow longbow model I bought in 1997 when I ordered a Green Mtn. longbow. Quiver still works and looks like new and it's been on many a hunt! I hope to use it this coming season with a selfbow I'll be hunting with. I believe they are about the best you can get!!!

I have a quick mount and a strap on, both are great. I have 175 woodsmans elites with (3)5.5" feathers and have no problems. Great quivers!

Great quiver.  I can fit 4 160 grain snuffers and a blunt.
