I had some time on my hands today and some leather I wasn't using, so I put both to good use. I'm waiting on my first longbow and I thought I'd like to have a back quiver to go with it. I don't know anything about back quivers, but I looked at a few photos and this is what I came up with. I'm fairly pleased, but I'm sure there's a lot of room for improvement, once I actually start using it. Also, my good camera was out in my truck and I was too lazy to go get it. These are lousy cell phone photos.

It's Tandy Leather leather. Haha. But, yeah I think it's probably what's called stirrup leather.
Very nice work
Very nice work
I'd say you done well without knowing anything about back quivers.
Very nice work
Looks good!
The strap does look like a stirrup leather.
Nice job too!
That looks great!
Wow! Very nice.
Very clean and professional work man! I dig it. I made one with decorative lacing on the strap similar to yours and those ridges created by the lacing became very irritating over a long day of shooting with only a T'shirt on...didn't consider it until I put it into practice...not an issue in colder weather with layers on though...or maybe I'm just too sensitive :D Good stuff!
Good job!

I wondered about that while I was doing it. If it bothers me I'll cover the back with something.
And thanks!
Very nice work!
Slammen job.
That's a sweet quiver! Is that leather pliable at all?

A little, I guess, but it's pretty stiff. I put a dowel rod inside to keep it from bending to the shape of my back.
Nice
Well done.
Looks nice!
