Title: Shoulder quiver
Post by: capt eddie on July 27, 2007, 08:51:00 PM
Can someone tell me how you use the shoulder slung quiver with the slotted open side?  Pros and cons would be nice before I spend #100.00 on one.  I will us it for roving and local spot and stalk.  On long trips I use a catquiver with the backpack.

I would think you just sling it over your shoulder and go....i'm looking at that style myself in a "Mountain quiver" design which protects your fletching....i'm trying to find that post.....Kirk

This one looks like it has two straps like a center back.  It is nice and maybe better than the single strap shoulder model.  Any pic of it in uses

I was just shown yesterday how to use one.

I was told to put the fletching side toward my back, on my strong side, and draw the arrow forward out of the quiver.

I hope I explained that right.     :archer:

That quiver looks like it would be great for hunting.  It looks like you would have to take it off to put the arrws in after taking the shot.  I am looking for some thing like that to rove and as well as stalk.  Putting the arrows back in would be an issue.  I have seen some pics of guys wearing a single strap model.
