Hello everyone, my name is Brian and I am new to the site. I have been reading topics here for 3 months which is as long as I have been shooting a non-wheelie bow.
I want to thank everyone here for helping me out without your even knowing it.
Right now I shoot an old Herters 40# recurve but have shot a few mild D/R longbows and I am heavily leaning to the Hill style or D-shapes longbows. I have also shot some highly D/R longbows but I prefer the slight locator grips over recurve grips. Sorry for rambling, but I wanted to introduce myself. God bless .
Welcome aboard Brian!

Welcome to the 'Gang! :campfire: :archer2:
Glad to have you aboard. One word of warning about Hill bows - they can be completely captivating. Many of the guys on this site are totally addicted to them.
Thank y'all for the kind hellos. I have noticed that about the Hill bows, they must be like Lays, once you pop you can't stop.
I wanted to make it to KyTradfest but my wife works weekend option as a RN , so it's a no go. A 3 and 1 y/o wouldn't handle it.
Welcome to TradGang!

Welcome!
Well thank you everyone. I went out mushroom hunting/stumping today. I had my 1 year old ad 3 year old out with me. Fun fun fun. Hard work carrying a 1 y/I all over and trying to find mushrooms. But we found enough to have some for dinner and enough to save for momma when she gets home from work. Shot about 40 arrows. It was just a little hard going with it all but nothing like getting the kids out.
The 3y/0 boy found a couple himself!!!!! We also saw a box turtle and black rat snake. God bless everyone.
