Title: Omega Longbow
Post by: BOHO on March 24, 2012, 11:02:00 PM
Just wanted to tell yall about my new Omega Longbow. Its 66" and 40@28 and shoots 29" 2018's or Heritage 150's or GT5575's with authority !!  I have never had a longbow that liked such a stiff arrow for the draw weight as this one does. The bowyer has one that is 62# and says his likes 2317's. I was like holy cats. Anyways, here's a pic.

love mine. thing really throws a arrow, just have to replace that string. He makes great bows but that string just keeps stretching on me. mines 50 @ 26 and likes the cx heritage 90's

thx guys. I like a thicker string also but he said he makes em small for the added speed. I might make a flemish twist for it tonight. My Fox longbow, I had to use a shaft way weaker than I thought to get it right. This one I had to go way stiffer. lol Guess every bow is a test.

Some bows just like a stiff arrow. My 37# Blacktail is like that.

At 66 inches, she ought to draw as smooth as butter at your draw length.

it does swine. I actually overdrew it a couple times to around 30 or so and still smooth.

LimbLover has an Omega, he is 6'3 with a real long draw, no issues with Kegans design, for the money the best Hybrid out there, fast as hell! i want to get a U-finish from him about 42@28!

Im sure he'd do it but his prices are so unbelievably low you might as well just get a finished bow.
