After loosing my spots for turks I gave up for a few years. I have a new spot & a tag, so a new set up was in order.
I am using my Bigriver Widow wannabe camo`d up, trusty snuffers & for a twist I am trying some bamboo shafts I got at Waterloo a few weeks ago.
I really like them, the fly absolutely perfect out of my set up. I am amazed at how straight they are & that they fly with all those nodes.
I think it`s gonna be bad medicine for those dirty boyds.

Sweet bow! Looks perfect for turkeys!
Good luck! Looks like a killer set-up!
Interesting, Brian. I picked up some nice bamboo shafts at Kalamazoo earlier this year. I'm impressed with their straightness and weight. Haven't made them into arrows, yet, but there's still time. I have permits for the 2nd, 4th and 5th periods. They're going to know I'm around. Good luck on your hunt.
Dang, I had a dozen in my hand but put them back. Sweet setup!
Jerry, it took a little more messing with them for nock & point tapers than wood arrows, but no finish required makes it nice. They seem tough as nails, the fellow next to our booth at Waterlooo says they are tougher than carbons.
Gotta do some stumping for sure
They were cheap enough to experiment on too.
 I say give them birds the "boo"
Place the arrow on the mark and everything will be golden!
Best of luck!!
Looks like a great set up...good luck Brian!!!!
