Well i finally found my "go to bow". It took me a while and quite a bit of money but i found it and thanks to Rick Wiltshire for parting with it. I went through a lot of bows, recurves, longbows, long, short, but something was always a bit off until i got this one. I can't find a thing about it i don't like. So smooth at 64" has a nice "D" strung shape, all wood, well crafted, dead in the hand, perfect grip, and flings a heavy arrow. Now its off to Portland in June to learn how to shoot it from one of the best Rod Jenkins.
Tall Tines Longbow
64" 54@28
Ebony riser with Myrtle limbs
Sticshooter limb bolts (just awesome!)
Big Jim med quiver
Beaver grip done by Big Jim (highly recommended)
Oliverstacy 450+ string (best customer service)
3 fletch 29" Beman ICS Bowhunter 500 (Thanks to Rob DiStefano )
Centaur Big Game BH (best 2 blade IMHO)

Beautiful bow...love the lines!
Absolutely beautiful bow.
I just ordered a new one myself. All ebony, and 64" as well.
Nice bow!
That's a dandy!
Very Nice!!
Very nice. The grip looks great, must fit like a glove.
Suweeeeeeet bow! Can't tell, are those limbs deflexed?
Unstung they are pretty straight compared to something like a Centaur. Just a slight curve to them. Here is a pic:

The grip is what i had the hardest time trying to find. Either too skinny or fat, too high to low then i bought a Tall Tines recurve and loved that grip but not the recurve part. Then i found his longbow....Perfect like a glove, same position every time no movement during the shot. Here are a couple more pics of the grip:

Awesome looking bow...have one being built with the same specs.

Hey may I ask where did you find those absolutely beautifull antler limb bolts?Very beautifull bow by the way, congrats.
Limb bolts are from Frank & Michelle Scukanec AKA: "Sticshooter" on Tradgang look them up. They do great work at a reasonable price.
I have always liked the look of antler limb bolts. The color of these match the bow nicely.
That bow is stunning.
Good lookin bow, you did well!
Another cool thing about this whole process of finding the "one" was that i was able to find everything i need right here on this forum either new or used sponsors or members. Pretty neat i think. We have some talented people among us.
Dusty

Gotta love the Tall Tines!
Brian does a great job.
Congrats on the new setup.
Now thats nice!
Really, what you've found isn't "The One". It's "The FIRST One". Don't let it be the end of the hunt but the first tag filled for many "bow hunting" seasons! ;)
Very nice :goldtooth:
Great looking rig. Its very nice when you find the "One".
