Since I've starting picking archery back up, my 7 year old daughter has become interested. The old fiberglass bows of my childhood have vanished from my parents' shed so I'm going to have to find a bow to buy. When I was a kid, they were everywhere. Now, not so much.
She's tall for her age but not particularly strong. I think she has about $50 of bday money she wants to use. I'll chip in a little if that isn't enough.
Any suggestions for one that isn't total garbage?
MadDog Archery, Mike Mecredy is your guy if you want something that will last and is top notch quality. He is a sponsor too !

Maddog x2
3 Rivers has a line of fiberglass (I think) bows that covers youth ages pretty well. I just got a 1st Shot bow for a nephew (to small for a 7yr old) that fiils the bill. They do have bows for older kids too at about the price you mentioned.
The St. Joe River youth bows are awsome! they are custom made just like any adault version but only run around $150.00. They have a trade up program as well that offers a trade in towords another bow once they grow more :-)
