Title: Is it time for fishing?
Post by: mike hall on March 19, 2012, 09:15:00 PM
All this warm weather has me thinking about hunting some pond pigs. Anyone in the Southern Ohio area seeing anything up in the shallows yet?

It wont be long now. Some people are already on them, you may do well at night with lights.

Good luck!

I am in Northeast Ohio. Last Wednesday I was out and saw plenty of carp in the shallow south facing bays. I got off 10 or 12 shots and got 1 in about 2 hours of walking the bank. It was my first time bowfishing but it wont be the last!

finished wiring the new rig last night and should have sea trial by wed.  Will post pics of the new pond pig rig soon.  We are down by tappan lake in tuscarawas county.  Will update after this weekend.
