Good Morning,
Just a quick post to introduce myself.
I am brand new (really green) to traditional archery.
I have been shooting compounds for about 20 years.
I have enjoyed that a great deal, but I am looking for something a bit different. I have really been drawn to trad lately after meeting some great folks at different 3d shoots around the area.
I have two older brothers that have been shooting trad , well forever. I will be attending cloverdale with them for my first time this year. Looking forward to it!
I'm sure I will ask lots of questions and I appreciate the opportunity to learn from the vast knowledge that exists on this site.
Thank you,
IrishHacker

To answer someone's question,, I'm from a small rural town near Dayton, OH.
I'm currently shooting a Jordan Stalker one piece recurve 48# @ 28.
I really like the idea of buying bows from local bowyers. He lives about an hour from me.
Another guy I met recently at a Shelby County shoot by the name of Scott Haney makes some really nice longbows. He lives only 5 minutes from me. I hope to become good friends with him. He has probably forgot more than I will ever learn.
Welcome from North Carolina!
