Just got a Rick welch dakota RC.I had one before but like a dummy I sold it and regreted it,anyway got another one. By far the best bow for me Ive ever shot, this one will never leave.Just wondering if any other TG member have one of his bows and what do they think. Thanks again Len.God Bless!!!Joey
Would love to see some pics :clapper: .
I love ricks bows. I ate alot of critters that I shot with one and brought home a ton of wood and plastic with them. glad you like yours.
Very nice to hear you are thrilled with yours.
Glad to hear that you are enjoying the bow!
Len
He does make a fine bow. Pics please!
I had one and it was the quietest, smoothest recurve I ever shot. And I have shot a bunch of em. The only reason I sold it was the limb tips were easy to twist. He has fixed that now with the carbon lamination. Great bows.
Congrats!!! I would love to see some pics.
I should have mine in a few weeks, I ordered it when I was down at his school last year. Smoothest bow I have ever shot.
Rick
I got one coming, I ordered mine at his school also, te only problem is it will be next December before I get it.
I should have mine before the month is out also! I can't wait and cant say enough good things about his bows. For sure one of the smoothest and quietest I've shot.
Thanks for the Info guys. Joey
I had a 2008 model a few weeks back. I really liked it as well. If I hadnt decided to go with just longbows, Id a kept it. Fantastic bow.
How about his LB?
as far as I know, he only makes the 3 piece bow in either longbow or recurve. basically, same riser, just either recurve or longbow limbs.
Will anybody post pictures?
Glad for yah Joey
I really like Ricks bows. I had one but I donated it for an auction for a fellow in need. Really want to get another one.
HIs longbow riser is differant than the recurve. alot less limb angle and a good shooter as well. Mine is 66" 47lbs.
I have his recurve @ love it. 42 pounds 58" long
I have a 64" recurve at 44 lbs. It is the smoothest and easiest bow I have ever shot. It's a great bow.
I bought a Dakota from BOHO... Just got it today. Did you say it is a 2008? Or were you referring to another bow?
I don't have a ton of recurve experience but it is much smoother and quieter than my Martin and the Bear I learned to shoot with years ago.
I like it so far. It was different having the shelf so close to my hand but I shot it pretty well.
