Myself & Joe "Whip" Lasch are attending PBS in Portland and are looking for anyone driving up to Hood River to Raptor Archery to visit with Ted in hopes we can CATCH a ride up to visit.
Y'all are in for a treat! Ted's shop is historic!
What day are you guys thinking of going up river?
Tom,
As Bjorn said, his sbop is historic.
We may stop in Thursday on our way to Portland, depending on the time, but I do not think we will be going back until Sunday afternoon. However, lets talk, we may be able help you and Joe get there.
Hey Guys how long of a drive is it from Portland to Raptor Archery. I'm interested in "Historic"!
Hey Bjorn are you going to make it up. I'd still like to visit with you in LG but we might have to start it all in Portland.
About an hour east up the Columbia River Gorge Larry,( beautiful drive).
I am happy to be here on Sunday as well for anyone that wants to stop by on their way home but only if there is a demand.
I will be here normal hours of 10:00-5:00 Tuesday -Friday as well as 10:00-4:00 on Saturday and look forward to seeing all the old friends.
See ya Thursday Walt.
Larry, I just reserved a car and will pick up Tom from the airport Thur. afternoon around 1pm and then head to Ted's. You're welcome to join us if you like. Tom thought it is about an hour drive?
Anyone else interested in riding along? I just have a small car reserved now, but if enough others want to share the expense we could sure get a larger one.
Ted's shop is a 'must see' Joe you should get a van! LOL

Ted I hope you don't mind my posting a pic. Guys Raptor Archery is a feast!
I have spent a lot of time in teds shop. It is well worth the drive to see it. You will be going through some beautiful country as well.
Now I wish I were going. Maybe Whip could drop me off for a little steelheading on the way up. Hmm what airlines fly from Boston to Portland & where's my Visa :)
I'm off Thursday afternoon and was planning on showing up to register for the weekend. I could drive 4 of us to Ted's after I'm done. 1:30ish? I have a Dodge 2500, so maybe a 5th guy could squeeze in.
Brad
Brad,
That would be great to be able to share a ride. I just sent an email to the address listed in your profile here - is that one still current?
Emailed you back, Joe.
Brad
Don't know my schedule yet. I have volunteered to help out at PBS. Sounds like you guys will be up there about 2:30 on Thurs. I'll see if I can make it too.
Not a problem with me Bjorn , thanks for asking.
Boy that was a while ago , the shop is completely different now and a whole lot less room.
See you guys next week.
Whip I'm not for certain what my time line will allow, so don't count on me taking one of your seats. I'll try to touch bases with you when I'm up there. Will you be at the red lion?
Larry
Tippit PDX isn't a podunk airport. You should be able to get here in one hop and then another short hop to Raptor Archery.
I will be heading out there on Friday to pick up my new Raptor Signature Series bow that Ted finished last week. If anyone hasn't seen one of these yet you should.
SS
Jeff , feel free to come to PBS then stay next week , we will do a little Steelhead fly fishing, I might even get you into a two hand rod.
Like Second Season said , you should be able to fly direct from Boston or if I remember right, seems Tom picked me up somewhere in NY( all looks the same in that flat country to me), direct to Portland.
You guys need a couple of volcano's so you can tell where your at.
Larry, I will be at the Red Lion. My phone is 920-397-9059. Planning on heading to Ted's Thursday afternoon. Will either hook a ride with Brad if he has room, or if there are enough people interested and we fill his truck we'll get the additional car as well.
Great to see you and your very patient daughter today Monty, funny how time passes when bsing about archery isnt it? Tuesday here and guys are already showing up!
Lots of snow yesterday but bare roads and blue skies today , snow should be gone by afternoon with the warm temps .
A beautiful day to drive the Columbia River Gorge.
Great to visit with Bob Burton and his wife marilyn yesterday, thanks for stopping on your way Bob and thanks for understanding the long sharing session Marilyn.
