For you guys who have had held / shot / owned both risers....how do they differ?
I have owned and shot a few SXT's but never a ZSR. The SXT has IMO one of the best grips out there and I really like the looks/style of it but interested in how the ZSR compares...the grips look similar but...
The ZSR seems to have a somewhat more "forward handle" look to it...does it feel that way when shot?
The ZSR seems to have a bit bulkier grip section around the throat...is that the case?
Thanks alot!
Jake

Jake, I have had a Standard, SXT, and the ZSR. I prefer the ZSR. It does seem to set just a little more forward. The grip to me is just a little nicer, but I always ask Bill to work the grip and finger grooves a little bit for me. I feel the ZSR points better for me. Both great riser designs. I give the edge to the ZSR.
I've shot them both,I had ordered a SXT but switched it to a ZSR when he came out with them.I love my ZSR,points great and one of my best shooting bows. You can't go wrong with either, the SXT is probably alittle faster with it's longer powerstroke. But I still prefer my ZSR for me,it's plenty fast and accurate.
Thanks fellas...it appears my thoughts were close to the mark.
I am a huge stickler for grip these days and the SXT has the grip for me. I agree, I would guess that Bill would try his best to make the ZSR grip work for me.
Decisions , decisions....
I have shot every Zipper model that is built by Bill Dunn. For me the SXT takes the cake !!! By far the best shooting bow I have ever owned. :D That being said, I don't think you can go wrong with any Zipper bow. They all shoot good !!!

Love my SXT and my Hunter S, best point and shoot bow I have shot.
I have shot both.. I love my SXT and my buddy loves his ZSR.. Personal preference, I shot both just as well.
I have only held the SXT and the ZSR, I liked the Standard Zipper the best. The more I shoot my 2 Standards the more I like them. That's why they make different stuff, not everyone likes the same thing. No matter which one you care for we must agree, Bill makes a fine bow and is great to deal with!
I sure wish we had a trad event here in Colorado like at K-Zoo. It would sure give a guy an opportunity to put his hands on several different bows during the same afternoon. I'd love to hold a Zipper in my hands just once.
