Title: 2016 from 30" draw 47 pound bow?
Post by: elbow on March 15, 2012, 09:18:00 PM
What do you think of a full length 2016 with a 145 grain head from my Kodiak Hunter which is 47 at my 30" draw? Charts say too weak but seem to fly great!

don't worry about charts, go with what works for you.

The 2016 is a great shaft and does well for me up to the mid fifties.  The charts do seem to run a little stiff or atleast that is what I find.

I shoot 2016s from my KH 45@28 I draw 27.5, arrows cut to 29.5 with 125 heads. They fly great, cock feather up.
