Title: Removing UNI-BUSHING from GGII's
Post by: AWPForester on March 10, 2012, 05:09:00 PM
How do I remove the plastic uni bushings from the ggii shafts.  Is there a place to buy replacements or better yet, a knock or aluminuim uni bushing that fits in the shafts?  Basically I was stumping today and busted a few of them and the shafts are fine but I need new bushings.  Any ideas.  Thanks and God Bless

I would use some heat if you don't plan on reusing them.

I use a drill bit that just fits the inside diameter of the GGII. Easton makes aluminum bushings. I get them from 3 Rivers, and I replace the plastic ones as they crack (usually from stumping).

I've had some real problems getting the old plastic one out.
Was reduced to cutting through the black platic and finally reefing it out with some needle nose pliers.
Honestly if want to use Game Getters I would suggest cutting the rear of the arrow  when you get them - insert the new metal bushing with a touch of glue and then cut the shafts down to size.
Cheers

X2 on getting the plastic ones out, it is a pain.
