I got call last night from a California customer. They said someone broke into their barn where all their archery gear is stored and took it all.Bows, arrows ,packs, game cams, and you name it.
I know we all think our bows a special but one of the bows truly was to this family.Brenda had contacted me in 2009 and said she wanted me to make a very special bow for her husband Art for their anniversary .Art had lost his father who was his best friend and hunting partner that year.Brenda asked me to build a recurve in memory of Art senior. The family also has a family crest .The crest is a grizzly bear standing with broken chains around each leg.I had that crest put on the cup of a Thunderhorn bow quiver .The bow is a Safari Elite made of bubinga and yellow heart riser with bocote limbs.PLEASE !!!!! Keep your eyes open for this one of a kind recurve. The upper limb says "IN LOVING MEMORY OF ART SR.". Please help in the recovery of this families bow. This kind of thing just really upsets me as im sure it does most of you too.
I cant stand things like this. Man it realy gets to me. Someone works so hard to get something only to have it taken away. I realy hope he gets his bow and other things back.
The Low just keep going Lower!! Hope it's recovered!!
eyes are WIDE open.

Need to go medevial times. Cut off a thiefs hand, make 'em think twice before they steal again!
Man! I am so sorry when I read this kind of thing.
I pray that all of their stuff is recovered.
God bless,Mudd
So sad to hear :( Hope its all recovered
 That is Always a Terrible thing to hear about!! I sure hope they get Your Stuff back in Decent Condition, and I hope the Horse-Whip the Thieving Varmint that Stole it!! :deadhorse:
Sickening.
I hope all of your belongings are recovered. I hate thieves especially those that steal bows.
A post like this gives me an empty feeling in the pitt of my stomach. I hope everything turns out O.K.and things get returned. Maxx
That's worse than a crying shame! The bum who stole it probably doesn't even know what it is.
 Not good at all. I just can not stand a thief. Hoping the idiot or idiots are caught.
That totally sucks. I would think that it is someone who knew him. Who would look in somones barn for all there hunting stuff unless they knew it was in there?
Where did this take place? Nevermind Skipped over that CA part. :knothead:
sure hope they get their stuff back. I hate a thief worse than anybody. my place got broke into last July and my stuff was recovered in October.
Those who steal what others work hard for is simply the lowest form of human life. I hope the bow is found!!!
People who steal from others are the lowest form of scum. I hope they find his gear and get it back to them, Art and Brenda are good people. This forum is a good place to get the word out and have a lot of eyes looking for this unique bow and quiver.
There is not much of anything that is worse than a thief.
Sorry to hear this kinda stuff but this site is too good for some of the foul mouth, locker room language and sentiment I have for low lifes who steal from hard working people. IMO and all my best.
I'm with Biggamefish. People just wouldn't think to look for that kind of stuff in a barn without knowing they were in there. Have him look close to home. I'd be willing to bet it was someone that had been in that barn before. I can't stand a stinking theif period. I hope everything gets recovered.
Not good!
Any other identifiable gear to help spot the culprits?
Hope karma gets em.
What part of Ca? There is a couple of weekly swap meets in my area that i would go look at if this happened close by. I would love to walk up to him/them with a couple of Cops.
