Who uses fly tying material for tracers? What do you use and how do you affix it to your arrows?

I'm about to add some rabbit zonker tracers to a new set of poplar arrows I'm making. I use fletch tape but have used super glue, TiteBond glue, Duco and others. With the fletch tape you stick the tape on a premesures strip of the zonker and wrap it on. With other glues I use a straight pin at each end of the zonker until the glur dries.
I've tried marabou feathers too but they wern't sucessful for me.

Rabbit fur or maribou feathers. Contact cement works for the rabbit.  Can use fletching cement or fly tying cement on the maribou quills.  Just wrap the material around the arrow -- once for rabbit, maybe twice for maribou.  Some suppliers offer stickey backed rabbit fur specifically for arrows. BTW,I like maribou better.  Lighter and seems to offer a little less wind resistance.  Is a little harder to put on.  I don't use either very much anymore.

I use the rabbit strips and some super glue.  They hold up pretty well and come in a wide variety of colours.  I love em on my stumping arrows, make them super easy to find after an errant shot.

Like Pat B. said just use rabbit zonkers in whatever color you want and use fletching tape to install them.

...and I prefer white. I've tried lots of colors but not even the flourescent colors show up in all conditions like white does.

i use this stuff , found at a fabric store.
same stuff they use for comercialy made tracers.
its synthetic-80%acrylic,20%polyester.
enough to last a lifetime for about $7.00 .
cut in strips about 3/8ths wide and an inch long, then glue on.

I use pre-cut 1/4" rabbit strips made for fly-tying. I wrap it around the shaft a few times, I like the nice ball of color it makes. I use contact cement.
