Title: Ben Pearson Javelina
Post by: Redfeathers on March 07, 2012, 11:57:00 PM
Found an old recurve standing in the corner of a pawn shop with items laying all around it! This bow has seen better days so I thought I would rescue her and give her a better resting place. This bow has a place for a fishing reel/stabilizer and has two small holes for a  quiver. I'm not so sure the small holes were not drilled after the fact. The marking on the limb is Ben Pearson Javelina 7060. The riser has 79611 and below that is 66" 40xx-28". Designs on fade outs on both sides top and bottom(4 total). How would one find out the age of this bow? I would appreciate any information given

Brent,

This might help you find the date it was made.

i used to shoot one of these for quite a long time.  Very smooth bow but it finally delaminated on me.  I enjoys my time with her.

I appreciate it Jay, thank you for your time. Fox Squirrel, I will not be shooting this one as I am a lefty and the bow is a righty.
