NICE!!!
The #4 bow (red/onyx) jumped out at me. Very nice work.
Very nice!
Beautiful Bows! Does canary wood darken over time and can you show a picture of the canary limbs? Peace!
Nice work!
Nice!!!
Dave,
Nice looking work. LF
Was waiting to see the lefty, and only one and it sold already, just not meant to be. Can you pm how much number 4 and 6 would be to order leftie at #45 at 28? I find it hard to order a custom bow, since I have NO idea about woods etc.. and what is possible so have been waiting for pics or for the pass around to end so we can work something out on the riser that is going around and a new set of lighter limbs. But these are nice!!
The canary will darken a bit I have been told and how much depends on individual pieces. I will post some pics of the canary limbs.
thanks for looking
Dave
thats some mighty fine lookin bows Dave. good job man !!!
Beautiful Bows!
These are pics of the canarywood veneers. They are yellowish with some red and light browns through the veneers. It is a great alternative to osage, I believe with more wood grain.

The bottom picture is a better resemblence of the veneers.
I guess I didn't realize how blurry second set of pics was. I will have to repost as to what the woods look like.
Thanks and good shooting
I can speak from experience that not only are Dave's bows absolutely beautiful, but darn sweet shooters as well! I have had the honor to meet Dave and the privalage to talk traditional archery and to shoot with him. He is highly knowledgeable in his craft and will do whatever it takes to satisfy his customer. Fortunatly his shop is not far from my house and he frequents alot of the local 3D shoots that I attend, (so he gets to knock at me about my poor shooting form ha ha). Im still loving my bow you made for me Dave, keep up the good work!
Great to hear from you Craig and glad you enjoy your new bow. Keep shooting and great things will come.
Thanks and good shooting,
very nice bows :clapper:
Thanks for the comments and remember that these bows are for sale and if you want some more pics let me know. Most of the bows are in the 50# range but if you are looking for something special I can always make a new set of limbs to fit your needs
Thanks and good shooting
I am going to be going through a website change here soon. I will have a chance to post pics that will be alot easier as a fellow trad friend is redoing my webpage. Hope for the best.
If anyone is interested in any of the bows and looking for a specific weight let me know and we can get a set of limbs on the riser for you.
thanks and good shooting,
Dave
