it seems i run through block targets really quick within 2 months of field points i just keep shooting withen like 6" of the center out leaving me 2" on either side really for shooting and i loose arrows from missing with that little leeway

A Rinehart 18-1 is a fantastic target, and, if you wear one out in a year, you can get a free replacement.

Block Fusion are not what they are advertised to be, they dont stand up to broadheads very well. I hear a lot of good things about rinehart products and I am saving up for a rinehart blovk.

I go through block targets pretty fast as well. I found they'll last longer if you set them up so that the sheets run perpendicular to the ground instead of horizontally....as the arrows drop in from a distance they don't cut the individual sheets nearly as much.
That said....an 18-1 is in my future.

An 18-1 rinehart is a very dureable field point target and in most cases a great BH target.
They can't handle an Ultra-EFOC arrow tipped with a Big 3. My last one merely lasted 3 1/2 weeks. Could easily challenge the warranty, however my objective was to develop a super penetrating arrow for the Big 3. Even shot out a new $90 Eagle layer target in 2 1/2 weeks with field points. When you have field points running thru a used but with much life let Outdoor Range Morrell, then target affordability becomes an issue.
Will be going to a Blob target yet may still not pursue this particular arrow design. Knocked down three 3D targets at one shoot last year. The arrow was ~32% Ultra-EFOC(400 up front), merely weighed ~611 gns and was shot from a 51# bow.

I have found that using Armor-All on the arrow shafts has reduced target damage with field points. Really helps with wood shafts - easy in - easy out.

Rinehart 18-1 is the way to go. If you shoot it out in a year, replacement is FREE!

Yep!

I have had my rinehart 18-1 for four years, field
point and broadhead, hope to get at least a couple more years out of it.

BLOB, If you don't know what it is, Try and do a google search. Will last for years even if you shoot broadheads.

Looks like one durable target from reading their website!

The only downfall to the BLOB targets is the weight. Not a target you want to move around, but will stop any arrow that is slung at it. I used to shoot my 290fps bow at 20 yds and would get maybe 4" of penetration. Mine has been sitting outside for over a year now with no deteriation. A great target IMO.

They're not cheap, but takes awhile to ruin an 18-1.

I must have gotten a bad Blob with in 3 months it was a JUNK, it started to fall apart. The center shot out, and the back side fell out in chunks. Sent pictures and a leter to the maker but never got a reply. Be carefull!!!!

I couldn't agree more...best target I've ever had. I honestly don't believe one person could shoot one out in a year!

Will a rhinehart stand up to 50 to 200 arrows a day (field tips }
-
I have a rinehart broadhead buck and it will last forever with field tips shooting about 100 arrows a day, but it only lasted about 3 months though shooting broadheads during hunting season. I am impressed with the rhinehart's durability with field tips, but I won't be buying another one. I am a bowhunter and I practice with my broadheads from September to Febuary and again during turkey season so that when I get a shot at game I am looking at a very familiar sight picture.

I have a Yellow Jacket Target that I shoot at in my garage. It will last near forever with field points as it is made for broadheads.

To answer your question...Yes! I don't shoot broadheads into my expensive targets, I buy straw bails for that! Anyway you shoot an 18 n 1 out in a year...rhineheart will give you a new one.

If just field points, I don't know if a rhinehart will ever wear out! Broadheads...shoot sand
