but it wasn't a critter. Found these on another website. Ended up getting them for $40. There not 100% pure wool but they'll work for a poor boy, columbia usually makes pretty good hunting clothes. I assume there wool is no different. I might have a matching jacket for $50  . After season deals are the best and give you something to do while you wait for the opener in September.

Good deal, Congrats.
Mighty Fine "Score" ya got!!
I have a pair just like them and I love them. Good deal!
Just got a pair myself. I can't wait to use them next season. Great find! Good luck on the jacket.
Always liked the looks of those.
I have a pair of wool pants kind of like that. Don't know what I was thinking getting a size 42 or something like that when I wear a 34. Needless to say I don't wear them much. I probably won't be "growing" into them any time soon. :p But they are good pants for sure!
Speaking of deals... Monday night at our "Trad. Indoor Hunter League" I heard one of the young guys who works in that archery shop, happened upon a garage sale last weekend.. An elderly gentleman had died, and his wife sold his 11 Rinehart 3D targets (which I was told were in great shape.} :banghead:
These included Moose, Elk and Bison along with smaller Big game targets such as Deer and Bear and he picked up all of them.... while paying only $50.00 for all of them..He said he spent way more than that to rent a truck big enough to haul them all home
Some guys have all the luck .. Now, I'm waiting to see if any of them show on Craig's List as I'm more than willing to double his money. :goldtooth:

I have been using the pants and shirt just like yours for the past five years with zero problems. I have been looking for the matching jacket also. I alway layer so they work well for me.
I was glad to see it wasn't a new wife brother. Nice Score!

Not a chance. The one I have now has never once in almost 6 years of marriage complained about me going hunting & fishing or buying anything for hunting & fishing. :bigsmyl: She can't cook but its a small price to pay.
I guess you could do the cooking or just get use to raw meat. Hunt, fish and stay healthy.
Ive been using these pants for 4 years in the late season. They have proven to be warm, durable and quiet. I picked them up at a surplus store in town for 35 bucks..great deal
I can get the jacket for 50.00 but I'm kinda thinking I might wait for a shirt, I think that might be better for me. I spent most of this year in a t-shirt under a hooded sweatshirt and a fleece vest. Never did get cold. Most jackets are a little bulky and I'm not sure I would wear it all that often.
I have the shirt-jac and love it. It lets the wind through, though, but it's pretty decent about regulating body temp as long as it isn't too warm out...
Rhineharts for $40! What a steal!

I heard that from others. I figure I'll wear long handles under pants, and a couple of layers of cotton and fleece under shirt, and a fleece vest on top.
42.00 for the jacket. I couldn't resist. I might not wear it much but I'll have it if I need it.
I got a pair of Woolrich pants and also the jacket back in the fall off a certain auction site and they were great for archery season. Nice find!
That's a nice find.
