Met Jess online last fall and spoke over the phone about my desire to own and shoot an original RMR curve. He sent me a couple picks of his RMR knock-off and we started from there. A few weeks later my bow arrived in a very solid wood box that took a cordless drill to open. Bow was perfect but just a little heavy. Jess said, "send it back, I want to make it right". Mind you this was my fault as I ordered it a little heavier than I should have. Well a week ago the new bow returned with the second set of limbs I requested 45lbs and 56lbs respectively. I could not be more pleased with the bow or the service. Jess Stuart is a hidden gem. Consider him and his bows if you are looking for a new one. Bow is 56" maple and rosewood riser with bamboo limbs in brown glass. Shoots as good as it looks and equal or better than the original RMR I own with far better attention to detail and craftmanship.

Very nice looking bow...
Nice looking recurve. At 56", it should be a big hit for the short draw archers.
He can make them down to 50" maybe 48"
just like the Morris' did when RMR was still going.
Nice bow. I like the deflex riser.
CONGRATS :clapper:
Here is the link for his bows

He makes them down to 48". I have posted pics of my 50" bow already. They are great bows.

Great looking - what's the wood combination?
Maple and rosewood riser. bamboo limbs with brown glass.
I want to thank everyone for all of the nice things said. I love to build bows and have for years. I am so glad you gentlemen are enjoying them, one of the great rewards is knowing that someone is satisfied with their bow. Perhaps even more rewarding is the wonderful people I have had the pleasure of conversing with through email and over the phone. Although I have never met any of you I consider all of my you friends.
Very striking looking bow.
I talked to Jess on the phone today and just placed my order for a 60". Now I must wait.
I talked to him too....Got to get one ordered soon.
