In going through some stuff I found a supply of bowstrings by Bear, Hoyt, and others. These are old but unopened packages of Kevlar and other fibers that go back a few years. There are about 50 strings mostly in the 68-69" length. My guess is that they may have been made for Tammerlanes and similar bows. I'll try to post photos later but wonder if there's any value in them. They look like they would still be usable but their best use would be on a wall hanger.
I'd like to hear your opinions as to what to do with them.
Come up pretty often on the auction site. Best place to look would be the completed listings to get a value on them.
Sounds like they would be cool to match up with some of my vintage bows. Are you willing to part with a few of them ? Are the packages still readable ? Could you post an example picture ? Thanks
Go over to the "Trad History/Collecing" forum on TG and post this with some pics. A lot of Bear fans and collectors hang out there and can help you out.
Also found some Wing and Damon Howatt strings. They are all in unopened packages.
For some reason right now I can't upload any photos to Photobucket. Anyone else having that problem?
