Must be having some kind of brain fart going on upstairs today.lol Anyways here's my question, thinking of maybe picking up a bow but the draw length is specified 29" and i draw just about 28" so my question is this. Will this bow be ok for me or would it harm the bow shooting at my draw length.Right now i'm shooting 1916's with 145gr.tips.Guess this is what happens when you take a break for awhile.lol
Well after doing some researching found that You can always shoot a bow that's longer but not shorter in draw length, may lose alittle performance and weight but seems to be about the extent of it.Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.
Almost all production (non-custom) bows are rated at the standard 28" draw length. This is a simple common measurment, not a draw length limitation. How far you can draw any particular bow safely will vary from bow to bow; roughly based on overall bow length and design.
No your fine it will be 2 to 3 pounds lighter than at the 29 so be aware of that. You won't have any stacking like with an over draw on short bows some guys experiance.
