Title: cascade archery
Post by: Alaska Dan on February 27, 2012, 02:39:00 AM
In my never ending search for the perfect bow, I just ordered a 56" Night Hawk. Now the wait begins. Does anybody have photos of their Night Hawks they would like to show? It's going to be a long 3-4 months... By the way, Steve's DVD was great.

Thanks.

I had a wonderful Night Hawk Magnum that was #6 I believe when Steve started selling them. Shot lots of critters with it and just sold it last year because it was now too heavy for me, but it was the smoothest short bow I have ever pulled back. It had a phenolic riser and Yew wood limbs 61#@29.

Best of luck with your new bow, I'll look to see if I have any pics of mine. Before I sold it I had it camo dipped in the Predator fall pattern and it looked really awesome.

best to ya, ken

Cascades are great bows - real sleepers if you ask me. I traded for a 56" model from a fine fellow in Texas. It has a Predator Green dipped finish.  The bow's grip throat is a little larger than I like but boy does that bow shoot!

It will likely share a turkey blind with me this year.

Are Cascades made by the same bowyer as Chek Mate bows?

They are but Steve has his own models and specs and finishes all the Cascade bows to a much better finish than the Check Mate bows.

Just got my new cascade brush hawk longbow 2 days before Christmas. I love it. It's 56 in. 46 @ 28. Couldn't be happier. I'm looking forward to meeting him at Denton Hill this summer. He told me he's hoping to be there.

Beauty bows for sure. If I ever replace my Chek Hunter 2 a Cascade is definitely at the head of the class for a replacement.

Nice bow!

TJ, I'm puzzled here....I thought Chek Mate bows were more or less out of operation for the time being.....so they are still making the Cascade models?

As I understand it, he is still making bows but has limited it to mainly a few of his distributors but still makes bows for Steve.

The Cascade lineup is great.  I've got a Nighthawk recurve (52") and Brush Hawk longbow (56"). Great bows!...and Steve is great to deal with..and he's a TG sponsor too.
